Turned in our workshop from a single piece of solid Oak or Chestnut.  This wooden plate is an ideal resting place for all those little everyday items (or sweets for the children, or even pet chews).

 

The plate has a small groove cut into the outside wall.  There is a broad lip which then recesses down into a shallow bowl.

 

Finally sanded and ready for immediate use, it will soon gather an enhancing patina with daily use.
