A modern twist on a bygone standard.  This sconce is not only a pleasure to look at but is also very practical.

 

The backing board and platform are produced using solid Oak.  

 

The backing board is drilled, at each corner, which are countersunk to accommodate wall fixing screws, and, fixing holes for the plateform.

 

The plateform is drilled to accomodate the fixing screws and candle mounting pin.

 

Prior to assembly all wooden components are finely sanded and all sharp edges removed.

 

A single mirror is fixed directly to the Oak backing board, such that it amplifies and reflects the light produced by the candle when lit. 

 

A candle is included in the cost.
