A truly funky addition to our range of clocks, with no two ever being the same.

 

Produced in both solid Oak and solid Chestnut, the basic characteristics of both models are the same.

 

We search through all our supplies of sawn planking, looking for the quirky and/or unusual shapes and grain patterns.  Once pieces are selected then the production process begins.

 

Firstly the piece is cut in a manner that enhances the unique quirky characteristics.  A recess is made in the rear of the piece to accommodate the battery powered Quartz clock mechanism.

 

The clock spindle passes through the wood and is locked in positon by a flat nut and washer.  The hour and minute hands are fixed to the spindle and both are firmly held in place by the positioning of the second hand.

 

Prior to final assembly, the wood is finely sanded and all edges smoothed and gently rounded.
