A very simple yet totally functional piece to our range of clocks.

 

Formed from one solid piece of seasoned Chestnut.  The rear of the body is recessed to accommodate the battery powered Quartz mechanism.  Tne spindle passes through the centre of the wood and is locked into position using a flat nut and washer.  The hour and minute hands are fixed to the clock spindle and both are firmly held in place by the poitioning of the second hand.

 

A tangent is made across the clock face thus proving a flat face, which becomes the clock base.  All edges are rounded and all surfaces finely sanded.
