A very simple alternative key rack, incorporating the same componants as the key rack with a shelf, solid Oak and polished brass hooks.

 

A single Oak plank of wood is cut to length and width, the four facing edges are scalloped, fixing holes drilled and countersunk.  The wood is then sanded to a smooth finish prior to the brass hooks being fixed.

 

The rack is designed for mounting directly to any suitable vertical surface.
