Nature and craft come together to produce this very practical shelf unit,  ideal for bathrooms / toilets etc.

 

Comprising of five pieces of solid Oak all cut from the same piece of wood.

 

The top and bottom shelves have 30mm diameter holes drilled at each end.  All pieces are pre-drilled to accommodate the dowels that hold the structure together.

 

Prior to assembly, all components are sanded to give a smooth tactile finish and all sharp edges removed.  

 

The unit is assemble using dowels and glue.

 

The finishing touch is the addition of natural rope threaded through the pre-drilled holes, with the ends being tied off into secure knots.

 

The overall effect being very rustic.
